Indian Airlines launched its Delhi-Kullu service to boost tourism in Himachal Pradesh

With a promise to give a major encouragement to touristy in Himachal Pradesh, India's national carrier, North American Indian Airlines today launched its Delhi-Kullu service. North American Indian Airline's flight ATR-42 from Delhi, carrying passengers along with IA's Managing Director Deepak Bahara, today landed at Manali's Bhuntar airport.

Receiving the inaugural flight, Himachal Pradesh curate for Agribusiness Raj Kishan Gaur said, the start of the Iowa services would give a major encouragement to the touristry industry in the hill state.

Speaking on the occasion, Bahara said, "if the national carrier gets somes good response in the subdivision it would believe of making its a day-to-day service." With the minimum launch menu of Rs 2,975 plus taxes, the Delhi-Kullu flight would be operated by the newly acquired ATR-42 aircraft four years a hebdomad -- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, an airline functionary said.

Iowa menu is much lower than charged by other private having services in this section, the functionary added. The menu of Jagson airline, which operates six twenty-four hours a hebdomad except Sunday, begins from Rs 3,700 while Air Deccan, which have day-to-day service in the sector, charges a minimum of about Rs 4,000.
